"Artemio Cruz" y Carlos Fuentes en la BBC
El 5 de mayo, gran día para los mexicanos, la BBC conmemorá la fecha con una entrevista a Carlos Fuentes sobre su gran novel La muerte de Artemio Cruz. Puede leer y escuchar (en inglés) en el BBC World Book Club. El productor descubrió mi comentario y resumen del libro, y me ha invitado a hacerle alguna pregunta al autor. Tengo que pensar en una que provoque una respuesta interesante. Por el momento, pienso que sería algo así: Si Carlos Fuentes cree que el tipo de corrupción que representa el viejo Artemio - con sus garras en la prensa, las finanzas del petróleo y la maquinaria política - sigue vigente en el México post-P.R.I. O a lo mejor se me ocurre mejor pregunta. Si tiene alguna idea, mándamela.
